With thousands of animals in our care each year, the involvement of community members, volunteers, donors and countless other supporters is vital. Together, we're creating a more humane world for animals.
With each program, club, volunteer duty and event we add or improve, we keep one goal in mind: changing lives. Whether it’s knitting blankets for shelter cats, hosting a donation party in your home, volunteering your time at the shelter or raising awareness for our mission, the ARL happily welcomes and encourages you to get involved and make a difference in the lives of homeless pets.
Foster
Provide pets with a break from the shelter in your home. Increasing snuggles is a great way to decrease stress!
Events
Stay up-to-date on the ARL’s signature events, orientations, adoption events, training classes, and more!
Facility Rentals
Host your next meeting, training, holiday party, bridal shower, or fundraiser at the ARL.
Birthdays
Celebrate your birthday or your dog’s birthday or ‘gotcha day’ at the ARL! Several packages are available to make it the best day ever.
For Kids & Families
The ARL offers fun, educational activities for kids of all ages. You can also host your child’s birthday party at the ARL.

Local businesses can support the ARL in a variety of ways. It’s good for the animals and your employees.
Dogs Day Out
Come to the ARL and take an adoptable dog on a field trip! Take them on a walk, to go get a special treat, or spend the day however you’d like!

You can help the ARL by joining the Humane Action Network and support the community by advocating for our animals.
