In addition to a digital copy of your masterpiece\, you can now choose to donate an additional $20 and have the original hand-drawn portrait mailed to you! \nJust like in past years\, you can also donate an additional $10 to fast-track your drawing and get your art sooner (digital images only). \nOr if you like to stick to the classics\, a digital copy of your drawing is still $25. All of the portraits are drawn by our wonderful volunteer artists\, but you won’t know if you’re getting a Mona Lisa or something a little more like Picasso … that’s all part of the fun![/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”82042″ img_size=”medium” alignment=”center” css=””][vc_column_text css=””]Each work of art will be a unique keepsake that celebrates your pet’s charm\, quirks\, and irresistible good looks. Plus\, 100% of proceeds go to pets in need! \nSubmissions will be accepted through March 12 at 11:59 p.m. (CST)\, and spots are limited so get your submissions in early![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_btn title=”Draw My Pet!” size=”lg” align=”center” css=”” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Farliowa.typeform.com%2FPDP2026″][/vc_column][/vc_row]

Bring your doxie along to watch—and for their chance to compete against other local four-legged weenies on the ice. \nDuring the first intermission\, the Bucs and the Animal Rescue League of Iowa will once again host “wiener dog” racing in Des Moines! Dachshund owners can enter their pups in the race for a chance to win prizes and help raise funds for animals in need. After the race\, stick around to enjoy the rest of the game from the dogs-only section of the rink! \nPLUS — NEW this year: all dogs are welcome! Don’t have a doxie? No problem! You and your pup—of any breed—can still join us in the stands to cheer on the Bucs and our Doxie Dashers. \nThis year\, you can support the animals in our care in two ways: the ARL Raffle and the Chuck-A-Puck competition. Stop by the ARL check-in table to enter the raffle for a chance to win fun prizes and sign up for Chuck-A-Puck at the Box Office — all proceeds from both go directly back to helping homeless animals in need. \n[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=””][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_custom_heading text=”How to purchase your tickets:” font_container=”tag:h2|font_size:30|text_align:center|color:%236D8D24″ css=””][vc_empty_space height=”8px”][vc_column_text css=””] \nPlease note: Dog-friendly seating and doxie dash racer tickets are sold out.  \nTickets in other sections are still available here. \n[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”2/5″][vc_column_text css=””] \nDoxie Dash Racer \n\nClick the REGISTER button below to register your racer and sign the dog waiver\n\nthis only registers you and your pup\, you will still need to buy tickets from the Bucs website\n\n\nClick the BUY TICKETS button below to navigate to the Bucs ticket website\n\nThis will take you to the Doxie Dash Racer tickets\nSelect your seat level (all seats will be in either section 101 or section 107)\nTickets will be sold in increments of two\, which includes two human tickets and one dog ticket\n\n\n\n[/vc_column_text][vc_btn title=”REGISTER” align=”center” css=”” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fsecure.arl-iowa.org%2Fsite%2FTicketing%3Fview%3DTickets%26id%3D114665″][vc_btn title=”BUY TICKETS” align=”center” css=”” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fblocktickets.xyz%2Fe%2Fdes-moines-buccaneers-vs.-sioux-city-musketeers%2FTCXuV4w7%2Ftickets%3Foffers%3D1256″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/5″][vc_empty_space][/vc_column][vc_column width=”2/5″][vc_column_text css=””] \nNon-Racer Spectator \n\nClick the REGISTER button below to register your dog and sign the dog waiver\n\nthis only registers you and your pup\, you will still need to buy tickets from the Bucs website\n\n\nClick the BUY TICKETS button below to navigate to the Bucs ticket website\n\nThis will take you to the Dog-Friendly Seating tickets\nSelect your seat level (all seats will be in either section 101 or section 107)\nTickets will be sold in increments of two\, which includes two human tickets and one dog ticket.\n\n\n\n[/vc_column_text][vc_btn title=”REGISTER” align=”center” css=”” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fsecure.arl-iowa.org%2Fsite%2FTicketing%3Fview%3DTickets%26id%3D114665″][vc_btn title=”BUY TICKETS” align=”center” css=”” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fblocktickets.xyz%2Fe%2Fdes-moines-buccaneers-vs.-sioux-city-musketeers%2FTCXuV4w7%2Ftickets%3Foffers%3D1256%252C1206″][/vc_column][vc_column][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text css=””] \nTickets must be purchased in advance – walk-ins will not be accepted at this event. \n[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator css=””][vc_custom_heading text=”Game day information” font_container=”tag:h2|text_align:left|color:%23652D89″ css=””][vc_column_text css=””] \n\nEnter in the main North entrance doors of The RecPlex\nCheck-In for ALL dog owners will be at the ARL booth opposite main North doors\n\nALL DOGS MUST SIGN THE DOG WAIVER\n\n\nDoors open at 5:05 p.m.\nPuck drops at 6:05 p.m.\nDoxies race during the first intermission\nOwners and their dogs will be seated in a “dogs only” section (101 and 107) allowing your pet to watch the game with you\nDogs must be on leash at all times when off the ice\nOwners are allowed to bring food for their dogs into the stands.
