The Animal Rescue League of Iowa and the City of Indianola are partnering to host a Pet Food Pantry for families in need on Wednesday, April 29 from 3-4 p.m. (or until supplies allow) at the Wellness Campus in Indianola. The pantry will be located on the East side of the parking lot. The ARL’s Pet Food Pantry aims to keep pets and their families together by helping those facing financial hardship with pet food. This event is part of a community partnership between the ARL and the City of Indianola.
How It Works
- Patrons may pick up food for up to 2 households (including their own)
- No appointment is needed; supplies are available while they last
- Each household will receive the following:
- Dogs: 15 lbs of dog food per household
- Cats: 3 lbs of cat food per household
- Litter: 1/2 gallon of litter per household
