– Total goofball who loves toys and being silly

– Prefers to explore and do their own thing here in the shelter, but will likely open up more once they’re in a home environment and have had time to decompress

– Loves people and activity and likes to be at the center of whatever’s going on

– Sweet smart girl who knows sit and shake

– Loves to learn and has great focus – especially if you have treats – so would be a lot of fun to train

– Tends to be socially awkward with other dogs (dog intro recommended)

– Young, noisy or busy children can be too much for them (mature home recommended)

The ARL’s shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, and not breed label
