– An adorable and sweet-as-pie pup who looks like a Dr. Seuss character! – Super playful and affectionate – try to resist smothering him in kisses – LOVES tennis balls and will carry them around the yard – Gets excited to see people and to play, but can also calm down quickly – In the evenings, he would relax on his dog bed near his foster family as they watched TV – Got a good start on leash walking in a foster home – Got a good start on potty training in his foster home and did well keeping his crate dry overnight; may need some help from his new family to get all the way there – Prefers small numbers of people over crowds, and can sometimes be a little overwhelmed in chaotic environments – Does well with other dogs and might just love a dog to play with in his new home The ARL’s shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label. |
