– Loves people and activity and likes to be at the center of whatever’s going on – a party animal!

– Loves to learn and has great focus – especially if you have treats!

– Knows sit and shake – good boy!

– Has done well with other dogs and would probably enjoy meeting like-minded friends

– May prefer to explore and do his own thing here in the shelter, but will likely open up more once he’s in a loving home environment and has had time to decompress

– Young kiddos may overwhelm our excitable guy, so he’s looking for an adults-only family right now (mature home recommended)

The ARL’s shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
