HOW TO ADOPT: This puppy is available for adoption by appointment. To schedule a time to meet her, please email meetme@arl-iowa.org. — – Loves being curled up on a cozy lap for a snuggle or a nap; gives little face kisses to show her affection – Enjoys her teething toys and loves carrying stuffed toys around the house – A good swimmer who loves her foster family’s pool – Has learned that her crate is a safe, cozy space; her foster family feeds her in there during the day with the door open, and at night she settles down on her soft blanket and after a minute or two sleeps quietly through the night – Still working on potty training but has been making progress every day – Gets along great with the dogs in her foster home; loves to play with them and is good at matching their energy – Met the cats in her foster home and after a brief moment of curiosity was completely unbothered by them – Will be a fun-loving addition to the family! The ARL’s shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label. |
