– Energetic, playful and curious once she feels comfortable

– Is opening up more every day in her foster home and will likely need time to warm up in a new home; once she trusts someone she really bonds with them and is quite affectionate

– Likes to be her foster family’s shadow

– Seems to know stay and come and may know more

– New people and fast movements can make her nervous, so she’s looking for a home with more mature family members

– Has done well with like-minded dogs in her foster home and enjoys lounging and also doing zoomies with them

The ARL’s shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
