– A very sweet, playful guy who’s always busy and loves to play

– Favorite toys include his herding ball, stuffed animals, rope toys, chews and more

– Fast guy; likes to run around his foster family’s yard and would love a fenced-in yard in his new home

– Likes going for walks

– Very smart and would likely enjoy learning new skills, especially if you have treats; already knows sit

– Has been doing well with potty training and crate training in his foster home; has started sleeping through the night in his crate

– Still learning which things are and aren’t okay to chew on

– Has loved spending time with other dogs and would likely enjoy a dog playmate in his new home

The ARL’s shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
