HOW TO ADOPT: This cat is participating in our Shelter Cat Getaway foster program, which gives cats a vacation from the shelter and lets them enjoy home life while they wait to be adopted. To schedule a time to meet this cat, please contact Mary at mmccarroll@arl-iowa.org — – Large, cuddly, independent and shy kitty who enjoys sitting next to you – Likes being petted on his head and back – When feeling playful likes plush catnip toys – Loves playing with other cats! – Declawed on all four paws – Not a fan of loud noises and being touched on his belly – Children are too much for him (older kids or no kids preferred) – Has done well with other cats – Takes time to warm up to strangers, so let him go at the pace he feels comfortable with – Happiest in calm, quiet environment All adoptable cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and FVRCP as appropriate for their age) |
