– A big snuggle bug who loves to hang out with her people and welcomes you home enthusiastically

– Loves going outside to sight-see and has not barked at dogs or people while she has been in her foster home

– Has been fully potty trained in her foster home; just remember that any dog may need time to get used to a new schedule

– Adjusted to her foster family’s routine quickly and often put herself in her crate before they went to work or found a spot on the couch – did well both crated and free-roaming when her foster family was away

– Pretty much a perfect dog!

– Tested heartworm positive and received an initial treatment; will need a second treatment in late June and then a recheck several months later to make sure she’s in the clear. All treatment phases will be completed at the ARL at no additional cost to the adopter. She’ll also need to be kept fairly calm until treatment is complete (more info at ARL)

The ARL’s shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
