– Arrived at the shelter very shy and scared, but has gained a lot of confidence in his foster home; looking for a kind family who will help him continue building confidence in his new home

– Has become his foster family’s little shadow

– May still be nervous when first meeting new people and is still not very comfortable being picked up

– Has a great start on potty training and will give subtle cues when he needs to go out; has not had accidents when his foster family is able to keep a close eye on him to pick up on his cues

– Has been doing well with crate-training, too, and recently celebrated his first full night with no accidents

– Has become friends with his foster family’s dog and loves to play

– We don’t know his history with cats or kids

All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age)

The ARL’s shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
