– Very sweet and wants to be close to humans – he’s a big snuggler!

– Likes chewing on bones

– His foster family said he’s typically low energy … until his food comes out and then he likes to bounce around and make noise

– Knows sit and does well on a leash, although he can pull a bit at times

– Does well in the car and will lie down and sleep on car rides

– Has been doing great with potty training in his foster home; just remember that any dog may need time to get used to a new routine

– Used to being in his crate when his foster family leaves and does great

– Has done well with the dogs in his foster home and seems to prefer dogs who are more calm and respect his personal space

– We don’t know his history with kids or cats

All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age)

The ARL’s shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
