HOW TO ADOPT: This animal is available for adoption by appointment. To schedule a time to meet this animal, please email meetme@arl-iowa.org. — – A curious little explorer with a big personality packed into a tiny body – Loves to pop out of his hidey house when you’re cleaning to see what’s going on and will happily greet you like you’re the most interesting part of his day – Likes burrowing in his aspen bedding and creating new tunnels and nests every day – Enjoys running on his wheel; would likely benefit from some sort of cage topper where his sand bath and wheel can sit without getting his bedding on it – Incredibly soft and very easy to watch – Will take treats right from your hand and even allows gentle pets; okay with handling when his foster family needs to move him – Adorable when he eats with his little hands – Immediately gets to work redecorating after you tidy up his enclosure and will move his house, toys, and tunnels exactly how he prefers – it’s like watching a little interior designer in action! – Would be a delightful companion for someone who enjoys interactive small pets with lots of personality – Foster family says he is a pretty independent fellow and would be a perfect low maintenance first pet |
