– Sweet, gentle puppy with the perfect balance of playful energy and calm affection; the kind of pup who loves to have fun but also knows how to settle in and snuggle close when it’s time to relax

– Enjoys playing in the snow when it isn’t too cold

– Already learning basic commands like sit and is eager to please; this smart pup listens well and responds well to gentle guidance, which will make continued training a rewarding experience for him and his future family

– Wonderful with the young children in his foster home and has shown himself to be incredibly gentle and patient, even with toddlers

– Loves to romp around with his foster family’s dog, exploring the world with curiosity and joy; would love a home with another friendly dog, but could also thrive as a single dog

– Has been respectful and calm around the dog-savvy cats in his foster home; is definitely a puppy and does get curious and try to play with them in a puppy way, but overall he has great manners and self-control around them

– At the end of day, his favorite place is right beside you, especially if that means snuggling up in bed or curling up close on the couch; forms a strong bond with his people and would be a loyal and loving companion

All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age)

The ARL’s shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
