– Prefers to explore and do his own thing here in the shelter, but will likely open up more once he’s in a home environment and has had time to decompress

– Gentle, calm, and eager for love in environments he feels comfortable in – a very kind boy

– Likes peanut butter, bully sticks, and puzzle toys

– Knows sit and may know shake

– Extremely uncomfortable around other dogs and needs to be the only dog in his new home right now to set him up for success; may also not be interested in having dog friends

– We don’t know his history with kids or cats

– May have allergies (more info at ARL)

All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age)

The ARL’s shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
