– Very sweet girl who will come up to new people and say hi – Likes tennis balls and other toys and can be a silly player – Will enjoy spending lots of time outside with her new family – Will likely open up more once she’s in a home environment and has had time to decompress – Once settled in, she’ll be a huge cuddlebug – Knows sit, does well on a leash, and is pretty treat-motivated – Can be tentative around new dogs and need some time to get acquainted with them, but would probably like a confident dog friend in her new home after a slow introduction (dog intro required) – We don’t know her history with kids or cats This pet qualifies for our 7-day Foster-to-Adopt program. If you’re interested in fostering to adopt, please reach out to meetme@arl-iowa.org. All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age) The ARL’s shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label. |
