– Loves a good rubdown and if you scratch right at the base of her tail she’ll be your buddy for life!

– Loves people and loves to play

– Walks nicely on a leash

– Knows sit, stand and “let’s go play!” and her previous family said she listened well

– Not a fan of loud noises or crowds; would prefer a chill home

– Prefers to be left alone when she has food or food items; looking for a teens-and-up home right now where everyone is mature enough to understand that

– Has lived with other dogs but can be choosy about her dog friends (dog intro recommended)

– Needs a home with no cats

– Has a history of needing special accommodations for routine veterinary care and would do best with a vet that uses Fear Free techniques

All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age)

The ARL’s shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
