HOW TO ADOPT: This cat is participating in our Shelter Cat Getaway foster program, which gives cats a vacation from the shelter and lets them enjoy home life while they wait to be adopted. To schedule a time to meet this cat, please contact Mary at mmccarroll@arl-iowa.org — – Very handsome fella who likes to sit and look out the window – He likes pets but will let you know when has had enough, and will do best with an experienced cat person who knows how to read his signals – Looking for a calm, peaceful home with mature family members – Young, busy children are just too much for him – Will occasionally let you pick him up, but he prefers to come to you for attention rather than being picked up and carried – Is very playful and loves his wand toys and is a HUGE fan of perching on his cat tree – This amazing cat is a mixture of many different personalities and has a lot of emotions; he is looking for a patient, cat savvy adopter who will appreciate him for his diverse personality and quirkiness! All adoptable cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and FVRCP as appropriate for their age) |
