– Likes to stay near people he knows

– LOVES whipped cream as a treat

– Loves to learn and has great focus – especially if you have treats – so would be a lot of fun to train

– Prefers to explore and do his own thing here in the shelter, but will likely open up more in a home environment once he’s had time to decompress

– Can be unsure of new situations and will need some help from his new family to build confidence in his new environment and routine

– Has done well with other dogs who have a similar play style to his and would probably love having dog friends; will likely benefit from a confident dog friend in his new home to help show him the ropes

– Looking for an adults-only home right now

All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age)

The ARL’s shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
