– An independent lady who is content to go off on her own to play and explore

– Loves being petted and will happily accept lots of kisses and cuddles from her people

– Can be a little nervous in new situations or around new people, but is able to move past her nerves quickly

– Has been on several car rides with her foster family and has done well, just got car sick once

– Has made progress on potty training in her foster home and knows the words “outside” and “potty,” will just need some help from her new family to get to 100%

– Has gotten along with the cats and other dogs in her foster home and is good at recognizing when they don’t want to play with her

All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age)

The ARL’s shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
