HOW TO ADOPT: This cat is participating in our Shelter Cat Getaway foster program, which gives cats a vacation from the shelter and lets them enjoy home life while they wait to be adopted. To schedule a time to meet this cat, please contact Mary at mmccarroll@arl-iowa.org

– Is doing very well with the dog and other cat in his foster home

– Extremely sweet and playful guy!

– While in foster care, this kitty was offered two types of cat litter (clumping and a pellet type litter), and has used them both

-This cat most likely sustained facial trauma prior to his admission to the ARL. His right eye has a scar and iris changes indicative of a previous penetrating wound. The bridge of his nose and skull around his right eye also appear abnormal. This does not appear to be affecting his overall quality of life, and he is able to perform normal functions regularly. Further diagnostics such as advanced imaging would be beyond what the ARL could provide at this time. You are signing this waiver in acknowledgement of this cat’s condition.

All adoptable cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and FVRCP as appropriate for their age)
