– Busy pup who loves to connect with people through play and other activities; will likely enjoy physical activity and mental challenges to keep his body and brain busy

– Active dog who is ready to accompany you on all your adventures; looking for a family who loves being active just like him

– Funny guy; loves to play fetch and get belly rubs

– Recently went on a Dog’s Day Out field trip and had a great time with his human companions: “Rigatoni is such a sweet boy! He loves everyone! He enjoys getting pup cups but didn’t take any treats from us. He did great in the car but would whine a little. While out, he walked great on the leash. He didn’t pull or tug. Rigs also enjoyed playing catch and tug.”

– Can be a lap dog!

– Eager to be loved by people, loves strangers and loves getting pets from people who visit his kennel

– Enjoys stuffies, bones and treats

– Loves to learn and has great focus – especially if you have treats – so would be a lot of fun to train (already knows sit, shake and down)

– Does great on a leash

– Appears to be potty trained, just remember any dog may take time to adjust to a new schedule and routine

– Has done well with other dogs who have a similar play style to his own and would probably love having dog friends

– Needs a home with no cats

All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age)

The ARL’s shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
