Peanut Butter
Animal ID: 271865 |
![]() |
– Friendly guy who loves people and will approach with kindness and tail wags – Loves chasing squeaky toys and will pick them up and parade around with them, happily showing them off – Walks nicely on a leash and would be an excellent walking buddy – Knows sit and stay, takes treats nicely, and is great at trading his toys for treats – Can be socially awkward and uncomfortable around other dogs and will do best with slow introductions to new dogs (dog intro required) – We don’t know his history with kids or cats – May have allergies (more info at ARL) This pet qualifies for our 7-day Foster-to-Adopt program. If you’re interested in fostering to adopt, please reach out to meetme@arl-iowa.org. All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age) The ARL’s shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label. |
