– Loves squeaky toys, giving kisses and rubbing all over you

– Likes going on walks and does best with a harness

– May need extra time to warm up to new people and things and is not a fan of loud noises; will likely open up in a home environment with patience and time and may prefer a calm, quiet home

– Was fully housetrained in his previous home; just remember that any dog may need time to get used to a new routine

– May not always want to share his toys, so he may do best in a more mature home where everyone is old enough and mature enough to understand that

– Can be a bit unsure and socially awkward with other dogs (dog intro required)

– A short and stocky boy – very cute!

All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age)

The ARL’s shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
