Anubis
Animal ID: 270981 |
![]() |
– Loves people and will greet them happily – Knows sit and shake with both paws, and is very food-motivated – Enthusiastic on a leash and can pull hard, so he’ll do best with a harness – Has been very uncomfortable around other dogs and needs to be the only dog in his home right now – Young kids are too much for him, so he’s looking for a teens-and-up home This pet qualifies for our 7-day Foster-to-Adopt program. If you’re interested in fostering to adopt, please reach out to meetme@arl-iowa.org. This pet is considered to be in their senior years and may enjoy calmer activities and environments. They may also have medical or behavior needs related to their age. Click here for tips for making a comfortable life for senior pets. All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age) The ARL’s shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label. |
