HOW TO ADOPT: This cat is participating in our Shelter Cat Getaway foster program, which gives cats a vacation from the shelter and lets them enjoy home life while they wait to be adopted. To schedule a time to meet this cat, please contact Mary at mmccarroll@arl-iowa.org

– Sweet, gentle, friendly, laid back and independent kitty who enjoys being in the same room with you

– Likes being petted on his head and back

– When feeling playful likes toy balls, catnip toys, laser pointers and feather wand toys

– Not a fan of loud noises

– Is not a fan of other cats and needs a home without them

– Young, noisy or very active kids will likely be too much for him, so he is looking for a more mature home

– Has a lot of love to give and will be a wonderful companion for a quiet person or two who will allow him to settle in at his own pace

– Will be a lovely friend for a calm, patient person who loves the quiet life just like he does

– Is currently eating a diet of Hills Science Diet C/D food (more information at the ARL)

All adoptable cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and FVRCP as appropriate for their age)
