HOW TO ADOPT: This cat is participating in our Shelter Cat Getaway foster program, which gives cats a vacation from the shelter and lets them enjoy home life while they wait to be adopted. To schedule a time to meet this cat, please contact Mary at mmccarroll@arl-iowa.org — – Very sweet and shy kitty – A gentle, sweet cat who is very motivated by food – that is the way to her heart – Loves a good cat tower where she can survey her domain, and is a pro at chasing the Cat Dancer and any string toy you can swing, and tunnels are her go-to for a quick nap or a stealthy pounce – Children are not a good fit for her, so she is looking for a more mature home – She is perfectly happy being your one-and-only cat, however, she can coexist with another cat as long as they are laid-back and respect her personal space – Looking for a home with patient family members who will give her time to open up and let her take things at her own pace. She does best when she starts out in her own room and is slowly introduced to the rest of the house over a few weeks and months until she feels comfortable – Has a lot of love to give and will be a wonderful companion for a quiet person or two who will allow her to settle in at her own slow pace. Once you’ve earned her trust, you’re in for a lifetime of loud purrs and playful antics. – Will be a terrific friend for a calm, patient person who loves the quiet life just like she does – A beautiful, brave soul who just wants to feel secure. If you love the rewarding process of building trust with a cat, Nosa is the girl for you! All adoptable cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and FVRCP as appropriate for their age) |
