HOW TO ADOPT: This cat is participating in our Shelter Cat Getaway foster program, which gives cats a vacation from the shelter and lets them enjoy home life while they wait to be adopted. To schedule a time to meet this cat, please contact Mary at mmccarroll@arl-iowa.org

– Sweet, but shy girl who loves attention but requires patience while adjusting to a new environment – it may take her a few weeks, but she is worth the wait!

– Her foster home created a blanket fort on a loveseat in the living room, which she uses as her favorite nap spot

– Occasionally enjoys sitting in cat beds and cat trees with a nice window view

– A very friendly and affectionate cat who just wants someone to love and spoil her

– She will get your attention with a soft meow, and she will purr constantly while you pet her

– Loves to be brushed and will roll all over so you don’t miss a spot!

– Is constantly making biscuits – too adorable!

– She may be happiest as your only cat, but if you have another feline, a very slow introduction will be necessary to set her up for success

– Young, very busy children will likely be too much for her, but she may enjoy older, calmer children who are gentle with her

– Once she settles in, she will be a devoted friend for life!

All adoptable cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and FVRCP as appropriate for their age)
