—

– Loves to be with you and better yet ON you! Gives lots of kisses and doesn’t have the clearest understanding of personal space yet

– Likes to play with her toys and be outside

– Will chew on chews for a while, and then she’s done with them

– Does well in the car

– Knows sit, stay, shake, come and down

– Does best with a harness on walks

– Her foster family takes her out every 2-3 hours during the day and said she has been potty trained in their home and also sleeps through the night; just remember that any dog may need time to get used to a new schedule

– Young, noisy or active kids can be too much for her, so she’s looking for a more mature home right now

– Can be shy and unsure around other dogs and may be more of an introvert (dog intro required)

The ARL’s shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
