- A goofy cuddle bug who loves all types of toys and chews, including balls, bones, antlers, squeaky toys, and ropes
- Has been sleeping in bed with her foster family; often brings toys to bed and stays in bed well; is not a fan of being alone at night, so she may need some help learning that being on her own during those hours is OK
- Just a puppy and is still getting used to walking on a leash and being in a car; having a toy to distract her is a great idea for car rides
- Has been mostly potty trained in her foster home and any accidents have been on potty pads; just remember that any dog may need time to get used to a new routine
- Still tends to startle easily and may bark when she hears unexpected noises; would benefit from continued confidence-building in her new home
- Can be a little nervous when interacting with new people, so letting her approach as she feels comfortable is a great idea
- Has done very well with the dogs in her foster home and is respectful of them
- Has also done well with a cat in her foster home; hasn't chased the cat or seemed very interested in it
All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age)
The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
