- Loves people and companionship, will like to be by your side everywhere you go
- Super smart and has great focus - especially if you have treats - so would be a lot of fun to train
- Walks nicely on a leash
- Loves to cuddle and wants to be a lap dog
- Has done well with cats and other dogs in his foster home
- May prefer one-on-one interactions or smaller groups of dog friends; may not be comfortable at dog parks or at large, dog-friendly events (dog intro recommended)
All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age)
The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
