- Can be shy at first, but will be your best friend after warming up!
- Loves neck scratches
- Loves hanging out in her cat tower and getting cozy for a nap
- Enjoys playing with mini tennis balls
- Has done well with another kitten in her foster home
- Has shown interest in a small dog in her foster home and has tolerated a bigger dog as long as she is given space
- Has done well with older children in her foster home
- Arrived at the ARL very fearful but has made great progress in her foster home; looking for a patient family who will help her continue to gain confidence in her new home
This cat can be fearful and may need extra time to adjust to a new home. We have seen good progress here at the ARL, but don't be surprised if it takes several weeks for this cat to become comfortable in a new place. This cat may hide and just observe at first - maybe for quite a while - and that is perfectly normal. Young children are too much for this cat right now, so we are highly recommending a quiet, mature home. We will provide post-adoption resources, including our free cat behavior hotline (515-262-9503, Ext. 311). If you can give this cat extra time, patience and TLC, please consider adopting! It will be so rewarding to watch them gain confidence and start enjoying all the good things in life!
All adoptable cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and FVRCP as appropriate for their age)
