Additional Details

- A beautiful, curious, sometimes talkative and loving cat - he still has some kittenish qualities, including his enjoyment of interactive play

- Is a polite co-sleeper; he will nestle up next to you, but doesn't take over the bed or get mad when you need to turn over

- Is most chatty in the mornings, almost as though he wants to tell you what he dreamed about last night; he also likes to play before breakfast if you're up for it

- He uses both horizontal and vertical scratching posts - if he makes a mistake and scratches something he shouldn't, he responds very well to immediate, gentle correction. Just say "no" once and take him over to his scratching post

- Although he's not a big eater, he seems to enjoy having access to both wet and dry food

- His favorite toys are ones that involve his person - he's particularly fond of fishing poles and cat feather toys

- He will bring you his toys - he drags his feather wand from the first floor toy basked in his foster home up the stairs and into the office when he thinks his foster mom has been at the computer too long - too cute!

- Likes attention, and will give it right back to you with head bumps and expressions of his affection

- Not a fan of other animals, and needs to be the only pet in his new home

- Young, busy children are just too much for him, so he is looking for a home with adults only

This cat has shown signs of overstimulation while in the shelter. Lots of handling, playing with hands, and excessive petting can cause them to overstimulate, which can result in scratching and/or biting. This cat is looking for experienced cat owners who will watch this cat's body language while interacting to note signs of overstimulation (tail waving, fur rippling, dilated pupils, ears turned back and quick body movements) and be willing to respect their boundaries. This cat will also benefit from interactive toys such as wands and ball spinners while playing. We are happy to speak with you more when you visit and can provide post-adoption resources. If you can give this cat mental stimulation, patience and space when they need it, please consider adopting! They would love to be your sidekick and buddy for life!

All adoptable cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and FVRCP as appropriate for their age)
