- Polite, well-mannered girl who is very cuddly; her soft, sweet eyes will melt your heart

- Gets the zoomies after being let out of her kennel and after coming in from potty breaks, but after she plays with her toys a little she settles right down and just wants to be near you

- Has a squeaky toy she adores in her foster home, and she loves carrying her plush toys around the house

- Has done amazing in the car - just lies right down in the back seat and is content to hang out with you

- Excellent on a leash and only pulls slightly for the occasional rabbit or good smell

- Has been potty trained in her foster home; just remember that any dog may need time to get used to a new routine

- Has done well in a crate in her foster home and has been well-mannered and quiet

- Mostly a lounger and is very tuned in to her people's energy; if you want to play, she'll play, and if you want to relax she'll relax

- While in her foster home, she has been polite and friendly when meeting new people and gladly accepts pets; previously has shown some nervousness in new environments, so please plan to give her extra time to settle in and get used to new things if she needs that

- Is currently living in an apartment setting and has done well there; can be a little nervous when she hears strangers in the hall, but calling her name or reassuring her that it's OK calms her

- Looking for a teens-and-up home right now

- Has been fearful around other dogs and tends to avoid them; needs to be the only dog in her home right now

- Needs a home with no cats

All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for age

The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, and not breed label
