Additional Details
- A total cuddle bug who wants to be right next to her people at all times
- Happy to lounge around on the couch all day and loves naps; has even fallen asleep during a bath because she was so relaxed!
- Likes sleeping in bed with her people
- Can be a super goofy girl, especially when she's playing outside
- Favorite things are toy balls and peanut butter
- Smart girl who walks nicely on a leash and knows sit
- Super friendly with strangers and wants lots of pets from everyone
- Loves car rides and will nap in the car; likes to get comfy laying across the center console if she's allowed to
- Will be happy living anywhere with a comfy couch and lots of blankets
- Doesn't love her kennel and may whine at first but can settle after a while; may do best with a hard-sided kennel
- Foster family says she has done okay being left alone at home and may do well being left out with a doggy door to go outside
- Appears to be potty trained, just remember any dog may need time to adjust to a new schedule and routine
- Has done OK with other dogs but can be a bit uncomfortable with rougher, more energetic play and may prefer a lower-energy dog companion who will respect when she needs some personal space (dog intro recommended)
- Has been diagnosed with hip dysplasia in both hips (more info at ARL)
All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age)
The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
