---

- Total cuddle bug who loves sitting next to you (or half on you) on the couch while you pet her; if you stop, she'll gently paw you to let you know she wants more

- Is her foster family's shadow and wants to be wherever they are

- LOVES toys, including chew toys, squeakers and tennis balls; her foster family said she does not play tug and if they tug on a toy she just gives it to them - such a lady!

- Does great on a leash and would be a perfect walking buddy; also rides nicely in the car and just goes to sleep if it's a longer ride

- Will sit patiently for a treat and take it gently from you; comes when called, listens well and wants to please

- A quiet housemate who rarely barks

- Enjoys lounging on the couch and sleeping in bed with her foster family

- Will steal shoes, slippers or socks if you don't pick them up

- Has been nearly perfect with housetraining in her foster home (has had a total of 2 accidents), and is used to being let out regularly; just remember that any dog may need time to get used to a new schedule

- Sleeps through the night on her dog bed and has done well staying in her kennel while her foster family is away; has also done well when allowed to roam free in the home

- Has done well with children in a foster home and when meeting kids on outings; has been very sweet and gentle, even with ones who are just her height

- Has done well with multiple dogs in a foster home, around the neighborhood and in pet supply stores and has been very chill; may be most comfortable with dogs her size and smaller

- Was afraid of the cats in her foster home at first, but now she co-exists peacefully with them; they greet each other nose to nose and she respects that they're the boss

- May have allergies (more info at ARL)

All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age)

The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
