---

- Shy guy that loves head scratches, and likes it when you talk to him

- Welcomes attention and likes full body pets

- Starts to purr as soon as you give him attention

- Has really soft fur

- Loves cat treats

- Will benefit from a quiet, predictable home

- Prefers not to be picked up right now, but will take all the pets and scritches you can give him!

- Young children are not a good fit for him right now, so a home with teens and older will be best for him

- Very handsome guy that will take just a bit of time to settle into his new home, so he's looking for a patient family who will treat him with understanding to help him become more comfortable over time - he's such a sweet cat once he feels secure, and will be a wonderful companion for a calm, patient person

This cat can be fearful and may need extra time to adjust to a new home. We've seen good progress here at the ARL, but don't be surprised if it takes several weeks for this cat to become comfortable in a new place. This cat may hide and just observe at first - maybe for quite a while - and that is perfectly normal. Young children are too much for this cat right now, so we are highly recommending a quiet, mature home. We are happy to provide post-adoption resources. If you can give this cat extra time, patience and TLC, please consider adopting! It will be so rewarding to watch them gain confidence and start enjoying all the good things in life!

All adoptable cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and FVRCP as appropriate for their age)
