- Likes to be a lap dog, leans in when you pet him and loves a good back scratch - overall one of the snuggliest boys ever!
- Loves meeting new people and thinks everyone he meets is his new best friend
- Likes to be at the center of whatever's going on and enjoys connecting with people through play and other activities
- Will nudge you with his paw to get your attention when he wants love
- Loves his toys (especially plushies and rope toys) and is a very silly player; tends to play hard with toys and may do best with toys that are harder to destroy
- Enjoys exploring and playing outside, would likely enjoy a home with a fenced-in yard
- Rides well in the car, sometimes wants attention and will try to get closer to you
- Knows sit, stay, down and come
- Great and catching toys and treats that you toss for him
- Walks nicely on a leash, may pull a little if he sees something he's super interested in
- Appears to be potty trained, just remember any dog may take time to adjust to a new schedule and routine
- Does very well in his crate, may whine at first but will settle down after a little time
- Has done extremely well in dog play groups at the shelter and has done well with other dogs in his foster home; may enjoy like-minded dog friends

All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age)
The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
