---
- Calm guy who likes to cuddle next to you and follow you around; loves to be at the center of anything that's happening
- Loves playing fetch with a tennis ball and playing tug with his rope toy
- Has a cute habit of waving his front paw around that somehow gets your hand on his back to pet him
- Gets excited when new people visit but is fairly polite when greeting them in the house; can be a bit bouncier when meeting people on walks
- Has had perfect potty habits in his foster home; just remember that any dog may need time to get used to a new routine
- Has been a polite houseguest in his foster home; has done well when left alone in the house and sits nicely when the family is eating
- Enjoys daily walks or runs; can get pretty excited and pull when seeing other animals and want to zoom toward them, so he may do best with a harness for walks and in a fenced yard when outside with his people at home
- Knows sit and come and has done well in the car
- Has been doing great with the preschool and school-age kids in his foster home and loves to chill with them
- May enjoy like-minded dog friends
- Previous family said he was known to chase cats, so he may do best in a home without them
All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age)
The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
