---
- A super social boy who LOVES to be around people and will ask for love from everyone he meets; will rest his head on your lap and lay next to you and is always eager to give you love right back
- Loves his toys and will proudly show them off to people
- Total goofball who can get clumsy when he's super excited
- Knows he's a handsome boy and loves being brushed to keep his fur looking nice
- Super active; loves going on lots of walks and has enjoyed going to dog parks with his foster family
- After using up all his energy, he's happy to chill out and nap next to you or in his kennel
- Loves to learn and has great focus - especially if you have treats - so would be a lot of fun to train (already knows sit and shake!)
- Appears to be housetrained, just remember any dog may take time to adjust to a new schedule and routine
- Young, noisy or active children are way too much for him right now; will do best in a calm, mature home
- Has done well with other dogs and would probably love having dog friends; a goofy, bouncy player with other dogs
- Has not lived with cats full-time, but has calmly walked right past them with no issue when he's been around them
- Not comfortable with baths or bathtubs and will need some help getting used to baths
All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age)
The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
