Additional Details
- Adorable, shy kitty
- Will do best with a slow introduction to any other pets in his home; this will help set him up for success
- Young busy children are not a good fit or him, so he is looking for a home with adults only
- Not comfortable with fast movements or loud noises; looking for a quiet, predictable home where all family members are mature enough to understand that he will need a calm environment and time to decompress
- Please plan on starting him in one room of your home and giving him quite a bit of time to become comfortable with that area and with you before allowing him access to larger areas of the home; this process will help set him up for success by not overwhelming him
- Gorgeous kitty that will take some time to settle in, so he's looking for a patient family who will treat him with understanding to help him become more comfortable over time - he's such a sweet little guy once he feels secure, and will be a wonderful companion for a calm, patient person
- Will be a wonderful friend for someone who wants to make a difference in the life of a fantastic cat who just needs a little extra time to trust
This cat can be fearful and may need extra time to adjust to a new home. We've seen good progress here at the ARL, but don't be surprised if it takes several weeks for this cat to become comfortable in a new place. This cat may hide and just observe at first - maybe for quite a while - and that is perfectly normal. Young children are too much for this cat right now, so we are highly recommending a quiet, mature home. We are happy to provide post-adoption resources. If you can give this cat extra time, patience and TLC, please consider adopting! It will be so rewarding to watch them gain confidence and start enjoying all the good things in life!
All adoptable cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and FVRCP as appropriate for their age)
