Jasper and Simon are Bonded Buddies; they'll be adopted as a pair

- Arrived at the ARL very fearful but has made great progress in his foster home and is continuing to come out of his shell more every day; looking for a patient family who will help him continue to gain confidence in his new home

- Has opened up a lot in his foster home but may still hide at first, and that is totally normal for him at this time; once he knows he's safe, he comes out to see his foster mom, asking for pets and purring loudly, melting into her hands when she pets him

- Loves his buddy, and the two are pretty much joined at the hip; they spend the day together playing until they're worn out and then cuddle up together for a nap

- Loves Churu tube treats, and they're a great way to bond with him!

- Also obsessed with feather wand toys

- More outgoing than his buddy, and his buddy tends to follow his lead

- Has not interacted with the dog in his foster home, but he's curious about him and likes to meow at him

- Has come a long way in his foster home, but will need time to acclimate to a new home, so please plan on starting him and his buddy in one room of your home and giving them quite a bit of time (possibly weeks) to become comfortable with that area and with you before allowing them access to larger areas of the home; this process will help set them up for success by not overwhelming them

This cat can be fearful and may need extra time to adjust to a new home. We've seen good progress here at the ARL, but don't be surprised if it takes several weeks for this cat to become comfortable in a new place. This cat may hide and just observe at first - maybe for quite a while - and that is perfectly normal. Young children are too much for this cat right now, so we are highly recommending a quiet, mature home. We are happy to provide post-adoption resources. If you can give this cat extra time, patience and TLC, please consider adopting! It will be so rewarding to watch them gain confidence and start enjoying all the good things in life!

All adoptable cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and FVRCP as appropriate for their age)
