- Can be shy and likes to get to know people at his own pace, but once you're in his circle he is a big cuddle bug and loves being a lap dog
- Likes sleeping in bed with his people
- Loves all types of toys and enjoys playing fetch; also a big fan of lick mats
- Smart guy who already knows sit, shake and lay down and does well on a leash
- Hops up and down like a bunny when he's excited
- Would likely enjoy a big yard to run and play in
- Does well in the car but can get a little nervous on longer rides; sometimes tries to join you in the front seat
- Has been doing well with potty training in his foster home and will let his foster family know when he needs to go outside
- Does well in his crate
- Has not met any other dogs while in his foster home, but seems excited when he sees them on walks
All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age)
The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
