– Adores cuddles and getting lots of affection from her people; just wants to hang out with you and can be a couch potato at times

– Enjoys booty scratches and belly rubs

– Loves to use her brain and work at things like puzzle toys and snuffle mats

– Will play with any toy as long as you’re playing with her

– Especially enjoys squeaky toys and Nylabones

– Super smart; already knows sit and will likely enjoy learning more skills

– Recently went on a Dog’s Day Out field trip and had a great time with her human companions: “Skye was an angel. So sweet, so chill, and very content. She would rub right up next to me wanting pets a lot. She walks well on a leash, and did not bark at all. We had a fun day walking around a lake and she wanted all the stops for sniffs.”

– Tends to be socially awkward with other dogs, but may enjoy spending time with dogs who have a similar play style (dog intro recommended)

– Needs a home with no cats

All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age)

The ARL’s shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
