– Very sweet and gentle girl who loves being petted and deserves to be pampered

– Has been spending time in a foster home, and her family said she excels at napping and is very low maintenance; she also loves snuggles and follows her family everywhere

– Likes squeaky toys and can be playful, but her foster family said she’s much more interested in relaxing

– Knows sit, stay and probably more; also does great on a leash and enjoys sniffing everything on walks

– Her foster family said she does great in a kennel and home alone

– Car rides can be stressful for her, even when she’s in someone’s lap

– Has done great with kids in her foster home

– Has done well with other dogs, including dogs she has lived with and dogs she has met outside her home

– We don’t know her history with cats

– Has moderate hip dysplasia in one hip; also has chronic inflammation of the ear canal and may need medicated ear cleaners (more info at ARL)

All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age)

The ARL’s shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
