- Loves to learn and has great focus - especially if you have treats - so would be a lot of fun to train
- Does well on a leash
- Recently went on a Dog's Day Out field trip and had a great time with his human companions: "Huey is super calm. He loved the car and slept every ride. He loves to explore a teeny bit then head back to the AC in the car. He is well-trained and potties well."
- May prefer to be the only dog in his home
- Tends to avoid other dogs (dog intro recommended)
- Has been diagnosed with a benign hemangioma between shoulders(more info at ARL)
- The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
