HOW TO ADOPT: This cat is participating in our Shelter Cat Getaway foster program, which gives cats a vacation from the shelter and lets them enjoy home life while they wait to be adopted. To schedule a time to meet this cat, please contact Mary at mmccarroll@arl-iowa.org

– Very sweet cat who welcomes attention and wants to be near her humans

– She likes to look out the window to see what is happening outdoors

– Her purr is very soft and will start almost the instant you start petting her

– Will need a slow introduction to any cats in her new home

– Young, busy children will likely be too much for her, so she is looking for a more mature home that is calmer

– She will likely be shy when you first bring her home, and will need to be set up in her own quiet room at first, and then gradually allowed to explore the rest of her home at her own pace

– She is a cat who will bond closely with her humans, and will be a devoted friend for life

All adoptable cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and FVRCP as appropriate for their age)
