Animal Rescue League of Iowa’s Microchip Clinic December 5

The Animal Rescue League of Iowa (ARL) will host a microchip clinic Saturday, December 5, from 10-11:30 a.m. The clinic will take place in the Humane Education Room located at the Main Shelter, 5452 NE 22nd St., Des Moines. Cost of the clinic is $30 per microchip. No appointments are necessary.

Microchipping gives your beloved animal an identification number helping your pet to be quickly identified and returned should it ever stray from home. It’s a quick and easy procedure. Microchipped animals should also still have their proper tags and identification at all times.

The ARL asks that all dogs be on a leash and all cats, rabbits and ferrets are brought in carriers.
