Ollie and Oscar are Bonded Buddies. They'll be adopted as a pair.

- Enjoys lounging with his family on the couch at night while watching TV

- Loves to eat and is motivated by yummy treats

- Tends to be shy and anxious with strangers and new people, but once he knows you he gets comfortable quickly

- A calm, gentle cat that enjoys playing with catnip toys, and is good about using his scratching posts

- Looking for a home with patient family members who will give him time to open up and let him take things at his own pace

- Is not a snuggly lapcat right now - he's very independent, and will be a terrific cat for someone looking for a cat as a companion to love and care for

- Looking for a home with patient family members who will give him time to open up and let him take things at his own pace

- Is not a good fit for children and needs a home with adults only; will be a nice fit for a quiet senior person or couple

- Needs to be the only pet in his new home

- Will be a wonderful friend for a calm, patient person who loves the quiet life just like he does

- Not comfortable with fast movements or loud noises; looking for a quieter home

- Will be a wonderful friend for someone who wants to make a difference in the life of a fantastic cat who just needs time to trust, and to know he is safe and loved

This cat can be fearful and may need extra time to adjust to a new home. We've seen good progress here at the ARL, but don't be surprised if it takes several weeks for this cat to become comfortable in a new place. This cat may hide and just observe at first - maybe for quite a while - and that is perfectly normal. Young children are too much for this cat right now, so we are highly recommending a quiet, mature home. We are happy to provide post-adoption resources. If you can give this cat extra time, patience and TLC, please consider adopting! It will be so rewarding to watch them gain confidence and start enjoying all the good things in life!

All adoptable cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and FVRCP as appropriate for their age)
